Trip Overview

Mountain Sun Valley Treks has been providing Manakamana Day tour Package on a daily basis.  Manakamana temple lies 90 km south from Kathmandu city and close to Gorkha and located on a prominent ridge (1302m) overlooking the river valleys of Trisuli (south) and Marshyandi (west). The unique location of the place is dramatized during winter when the ridge appears as island above the sea of morning mist. The 10-minute cable-car ride takes the visitor to the temple of Goddess Manakamma who is believed to have the power to fulfil wishes. The temple of Manakamana lies 125 km to the west of Kathmandu. 

Outline Itinerary

We will come to pickup you on your Hotel, early morning at 6:00 am. We began to drive towards Kurintar for about 3 hours by Hiace/ Jeep. After reaching Kurintar, we will use Cable Car to reach Manakamana temple. You can spend the time doing puja and tour around the Manakamana temple.Then  you will come down to the road by Cable car again and then drive to Kathmandu and finally  drop you to your Hotel.

Itinerary

Personal Hygiene:

  • Two tubes lip sun cream, at least 1 large tube regular sun cream (min. factor 30), some after-sun lotion in case you do get a sunburn
