Itinerary

Pick up from your hotel and drop to airport
Early morning we will pick up you from the hotel and drive you towards Kathmandu Airport.

Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla 
We fly towards  Lukla, the entrance and gateway of Everest Region for about 30 minutes. In Lukla we take a short break and refuel the Helicopter.

Fly from Lukla to Everest Base Camp- Stopover at Kala Patthar (5550m/19,290ft) 
Now, we continue our heli tour  to Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Lakes. We land at Kalapatthar (5,545 m), which is the best view point on Everest region. From here we explore 360 degree panoramic views of mountains and spend 5-10 minutes for photo click session and glimpse with Himalayas.

Fly from Everest Base Camp (Kalapatthar) to Syangboche (Hotel Everest View) 
Now, we continue our heli tour towards Syangboche. Here we stop for breakfast, tea and coffee beneath soaring peaks Mt. Everest and other giant peaks, a nice spot at the height of (3,880 m).

Fly from Syangboche (Hotel Everest View) to Lukla. 
We fly to Lukla and refuel the helicopter.

Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu

01: Up to what elevation Everest Base Camp helicopter flight tour?

You will be land at Kalapatthar on the elevation of 5,545 meters and Everest Base Camp located on the elevation of 5364 meters.

02: Does it land at Mount Everest Base Camp?

To be honest, the Kalapatthar View point is best view point to see Mt Everest (8848m) and surrounding peaks. It definite that you will land at Kalaptthar (5545m), I understand that everyone has dream to land at Kalapatthar and Base Camp. To land at Base Camp it depends on weather conditions. Sometime it can be very hard to Land at Base Camp, Wind speed is hard at Base Camp and sometime helicopter landing spot disappears due to landslide too. Just for your acknowledgement you don’t see Mt. Everest from its base Camp. People target Everest Base Camp just to get there. In case it is difficult to land pilots takes close touching distance of Base Camp.

3: How long landing at Kalapatthar and Base Camp?

Helicopter engine will be keep running while landing. So approximately you will have 10 – 20 minutes time. 

4: What happens in case of bad weather and flight didn’t take off?

In this case, you will get full refund. If you are flexible with time you may postponed for following days. 

5: Is it possible to take kids for Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour?

There’s no problem in taking kids as well as old-aged people. Physical fitness is not required for the tour.
