Religion:
Nepal is the only Hindu kingdom in the
world. Hindu temples and Buddhist shrines are scattered all over the kingdom.Nepal is the
birthplace of Lord Buddha, the light of Asia. There is a complex blending of Hinduism and
Buddhism in Nepal.

Clothing:
Warm clothes are required from November to
February and tropical wear from March until October. Special clothing is necessary for
trekking and mountaineering.

Health:
International certificate of vaccination
regarding current incluation against Cholera, Typhoid and yellow fevers are recommended.

Permits:
Permits are required to visit Nepal's
interior regions not connected by major roads. Trekking permits are available from the
Department of Immigration in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Trekking permits are not necessary for
the Annapurna, Everest and Langtang regions but a National Park entrance fee is required
for these regions.

Visa and Passports:
A passport valid for a minimum of six months is
required at the Tribhuvan International Airport for all the tourists. A visa is necessary
to enter Nepal and can be obtained from the Royal Nepal Embassy or entry points in Nepal.
Money and Credit Cards:
Payments to hotels, travel agencies, and airlines must be
made in foreign currency, Master and Visa cards are widelyaccepted at major hotels, shops
, restaurants and travel agencies.
