| Annapurna Sanctuary Trek (10 Days) |
Easily accessible from Pokhara, the hidden stronghold of the Annapurna Sanctuary is one of the most popular trekking destinations in Nepal. It's a deep glacier-covered amphitheater surrounded by a ring of impressive high peaks including Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Fang, Annapurna, Ganagapurna, Annapurna III and Machhapuchhare. From the terraced farmland above Pokhara, we trek on good trails through scattered Gurung settlements and abundant forest, climbing gradually into a world of ice and snow. The combination of picturesque rice-fields and villages, with the panorama of high peaks beyond offers fascinating scenery. The dawn views of Dhaulagiri, Macchapuchare and Annapurna South from Poon Hill are one of the highlights of this trek. |
